The Naked Theologian is a way of saying that theology needs to be done without the accumulated overlays of Christian dogma and tradition, and particularly the threats of church approval and control. Instead it needs to begin from the perspective of personal experience. This is the first in an occasional series of doing practical theology in a public forum open to scrutiny.
